LES MOONTUNES are a dynamic Acadian ensemble that pushes the limits of simplistic genre definitions. Their compelling mix of prog rock, modern jazz, vintage metal, heavy soul, stoner doom, and experimental movements has helped distinguish the band as a truly unique act that eradicates boundaries and expectations.

Anchored in New Brunswick, the now pan-provincial act has become a staple of the Atlantic Canadian music scene and a rising star must-see band. Adorned with album cycle-specific costumes and equipped with extraordinary musical prowess, Les Moontunes don’t just offer a performance, they mount a spectacle.

This approach has landed the band slots at some of the country’s most prestigious festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, Festival d’été du Québec, RIDEAU, M for Montreal, and Acadie Rock. Their steadfast artistic vision has also garnered Les Moontunes several Musique-Music New Brunswick Awards including Innovator of the Year (2024), Breakthrough Artist of the Year (2021) and Video of the Year (“Paper Boat” 2021).

In November 2026, Les Moontunes unleash Cyborg Slayer – their third studio album, and their very first in French. Cyborg Slayer is an innovative prog-rock rendering of a digitapocalyptic saga chronicling a world in which cyborgs rule the earth and a vicious war against humanity wages on. From the birth of the first cyborg to the death of the last, the 13-track album is both a vivid portrait of human uprising in the face of cold, calculated brutality and an electrifying soundtrack to the harrowing narrative.
